In addition to the registration fee, this scholarship includes most meals at the conference. Hotel registration, travel expenses, and any other conference related expenses or incidentals are the sole responsibility of the scholarship winner. AwardsEach year at the Annual Conference, INAFSM recognizes those individuals or groups who have made significant contributions to the fields of stormwater and/or floodplain management. Nominations for each award are offered in the summer before the Conference. Learn more about our award categories and submit a nomination before the July 12 deadline. 16th Annual Golf OutingOur 16th annual INAFSM golf scramble will be held at Legacy Hills Golf Club in Laporte (299 W Johnson Rd) on Tuesday, September 10th, with the first group teeing off at 12:00 pm. We only have 6 foursomes reserved so please get your reservation in early. Legacy Hills Golf Club is in the unique position of being both one of Indiana’s oldest golf courses, and one of Indiana’s newest golf courses. The course was originally established in 1904. Most recently, The Legacy Corporation purchased the course along with a considerable amount of land across the street. A tunnel was built to connect the front nine holes and the newly created back nine holes of the course, along with a new club house. Alongside the pro shop is a first class driving range. Contact John Crist ASAP to enter yourself or reserve a foursome of your own. Silent AuctionInformational Flyer. Once again we'll be hosting a silent auction to support our Greg Main and Toni Cecil Memorial Scholarship funds! Would your business donate an item? Or you personally? Perhaps you and co-workers can put together a basket of items from your part of the state? Wondering what would make a good item? Just think about items on which you might like to bid; if the item or collection of items is interesting to you, then there's a good chance that others will be interested, too. Please contact Suzie Delay or call (317) 234-1063) to make a donation or request more information. Logo MerchandiseThrough out the year, Colored Threads takes orders for embroidered apparel featuring the INAFSM logo. For those who order before August 26 you can save on shipping and we'll bring your purchase to the conference for you. |
